Parker Bell is a strategist and storyteller now based in Raleigh, NC. For more than 12 years, she has worked in strategic communications and marketing for a wide variety of tastemakers and innovators in New York and Washington, DC – from lifestyle brands and tech startups to government agencies and nonprofits.
As an agency strategist and management consultant, Parker has generated brand awareness, engagement, and demand for pioneering clients such as Target fashion, W Hotels, LVMH, Mercedes Benz, Rock the Vote, the Smithsonian, and product partnerships by visionaries Deepak Chopra and Philippe Starck. To bring strategies to life, she has also collaboratively designed and delivered everything from brand identities, campaigns, and experiences to organizations, processes, and products that meet client needs. For several years, she was honored to help build the Obama Administration's new federal agency for rapid, radical technology innovation called Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E).
A Raleigh, North Carolina native, Parker graduated from Duke University with a degree in Public Policy Studies and a minor in Music. She returned to Duke in 2012, where she completed an MBA and helped build communications tools and infrastructure as Communications Director for the new campus-wide Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative. She is proud to come from 3 generations of self-made, small business entrepreneurs. As a highly-curious lifelong-learner, she enjoys staying ahead of trends. In 2015, she received professional certificates in Digital Marketing from New York University and Omni-Channel Retail from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Parker develops and delivers actionable solutions to startup organizations and businesses of all kinds. When not nerding out, she enjoys dancing, decorating friends' apartments, and talking to strangers (and their pets).
